As in “potato chips” in American English. I personally love mine : kettle cooked with olive oil, salt and pepper. I also love to have mine with the sour cream and onion dip, humus, ranch dressing, honey Dijon mustard and salsa and guacamole.

Kettle cooked? You make them at home? o_O I just eat them from the plastic bag they come in. I don't dip them in anything.

Here in the U.S kettle cooked chips are thick and I've yet to find one that really appeals to my taste.
The best chips I've ever had are out of Ohio and use to have a very limited wholesale market until they just recently started to sell to Sam's Club; Ballreich's potato chips.

Hubby is from Ohio and back in the day he use to get them when they were still warm in the bag. Delicious. With a homemade dip especially.
