I agree... it is going to get worse... but think of it this way,.. when the Holy Spirit withdraws and man is left to his own devices, and it will the turn for the worse be beyond imagination, if what they do now is horrific.
IF GOD SHOULD SUDDENLY WITHDRAW HIS HOLY SPIRIT FROM THIS WORLD, WE COULD HAVE NO LOVE, OR JOY, PEACE, LONG-SUFFERING, GENTLENESS, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITH, FAITHFULNESS, MEEKNESS, OR TEMPERANCE, FOR THESE ARE ALL GIFTS AND FRUIT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
This world is grieving the Holy Spirit.
Rev 3:1 I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
Many so called believers are grieving the Holy Spirit with their "name it, claim it" etc.. but no heart changing efforts are made to transform into His image. Slaying in the spirit is not in His image. For God would never want His people behaving like they are having epileptic fits.
Ephesians 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
Believers, understand "he who now restrains" (II Thessalonians 2:7) to be the Holy Spirit. When the restrainer is "taken out of the way", then chaos of unspeakable evil ensues on a level this world has never seen. With the result of the decrease of the Presence of the Spirit of God among the people of God and in this world there will be the "falling away of" the believers whether new or been in the faith since they were born. (II Thessalonians 2:3).
Everyone, without restraint, just think about that. Problem is if you are waiting for the worse case scenario before believing we are in end days, then it will be too late, because when the Holy Spirit withdraws, the work of the sealing is finished.
This is our hope.... our only hope....
Romans 8:9-17 "But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His spirit that dwelleth in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die; but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God, and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together."
But we children of God know that as the world grows darker, we will shine brighter in His light.
Is 60:1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
There is scriptural support for the idea that there will be in the last days a great latter-rain revival, as symbolized by the two witnesses of Revelation. At the end of the revival God will permit Antichrist to overcome the believers, many will fall in the tribulation, trials, and temptations. Others witness the deception, force, and corruption and it drives the remnant of true saints into hiding, thus effectively silencing what little consciences are left in the populace.
