The same way you'd know anybody else is sincere.

Yes, I would, as to how to tell, time, their fruit will tell and also the spirit will also tell you if you listen. I believe that there are many who convert sincerely and I also think that there are some who do so out of conveinience such as is happening in Germany right now

Actually this is the reason for the op, what is happening in Germany. I also want to know how others would handle the same type of situation. Personally I can't answer the question honestly because I have never entertained it before.

by the fruits ...

and the truth is , to convert from Islam is done at the very present risk (as much now in the west as any where) to yourself and family .. at the least ostracization from family and the most ,the risk of being murdered for doing so . So it would make more sense to trust the sincerity of such a person then to trust the sincerity of some one whose attended the church for 20 years , loves going to worldly movies and praises mankind in movies and sports stars and would probably sell you out if their own skin was at risk ... it cost them nothing to convert and the day it does cost them ..can you trust them to pay the cost ?
i think i would be more inclined to trust a person who began paying the cost the moment they converted ....

I wouldn't regard them any differently to someone who converted to Christianity whether they converted from Hinduism, Buddhism, atheism, agnosticism, satanism or pastafarianism. Why should someone's past change who they are now?

There's a lot of talk in the media about the dangers presented by Islam but just because the media doesn't focus on satanists doesn't mean they wouldn't pretend to convert to Christianity in order to try and bring down a church from the inside.

There are a lot of Christians in America not willing for America to take Syrian refugees into America. How do my fellow American Christians on this forum feel about that? I am still sorting out my thoughts and feelings on this whole issue.

As a Pentecostal, if anyone, be they a Muslim (and dare I say, even an atheist) were to confess Christ as their Saviour and that he is the Son of God, where they subsequently are empowered to speak in tongues, then I would have absolutely no qualms about their salvation; for that matter, the same could be said for a politician as well, which could possibly be deemed to be an even greater event!

As there are numerous thousands of Muslims converting to Christ then why should this surprise any of us?

No, it does not surprise me in the least that there are many converts from Islam to Christianity. I think I am curious to know how you would deal emotionally if say two or three Islam to Christian converted families joined your particular congregation.
