Was the blood moon experience a disappointment?

The next "blood moon" is scheduled for 2033 I am told ... but I doubt that will be the harbinger of doom and the end of the world :)

I'll be 65. I might be ready by then.

It will never happen. The world will have ended by then. As evidenced by, oh, something or other I imagine.

Come 2034 I wonder what the next predicted date will be; I imagine John Hagee will be dead by then so who will be the next "prophet" of doom?

Hopefully you will be able to joke and make fun but I doubt that this country will still be standing by then and I fully expect scripture to be fulfilled before then

Who can speak for the USA's future? Not me. But I remember that 2000 was predicted to be the end, and then 2012, now we have a 2015 claim and one cannot help but wonder when the folk making predictions will notice the total failure of past predictions. The end will come but it will come in God's own good time and none of these "prophets" of doom will be his spokesman at that time.

There was a 1984 or 1985 predicted end too, something to do with the alignment of planets on one side of the sun.

It's odd really, many of the folk who get worked up about John Hagee's "blood moons" also talk disparagingly of Jehovah's witnesses failed end dates, 1878, 1914, 1975 but apparently see no similarity in Mr Hagee's predictions.

Who predicted the end in 2015, I must have missed that one somewhere?

Not only was it a blood moon. but it was a super Harvest moon as well, meaning it was closer to the Earth. I think it affected the tides causing high surf in the Eastern USA coupled with Hurricane Joaquin making several coastal states declare a state of emergency for flooding . Virginia Beach is almost eroded away. And in Australia, a massive sinkhole opened up and swallowed a campsite on a beach in Queensland.Russia attacked in Syria. Missiles were fired into Israel from Gaza and Israel retaliated. Some man went lunatic and shot , killed and wounded students in Oregon at a community college.

Let's not get overly technical; 2015 is the end of the blood-moon sequence and something big is supposed to happen. So far nothing big has happened. And don't say "Russia bombed in Syria". The reply to that is "and?". Russia invaded the Crimea, bombed (via proxies) Ukraine, and will no doubt continue to do whatever its leaders think is worth the risk. The USA also bombed Syria, so did Australia and France. It's not a end-time fulfilment any more than Israel bombing Lebanon in the 1980s or bombing the Gaza strip in 2014. And if 2015 blood moon stuff amounts to as little as Russian bombing in Syria then I reckon we can ignore the whole blood moon prediction industry.

Massive? It was about the size of a football field. I don't think it mattered much because it happened in the middle of nowhere and would not even have been noticed but for some holiday makers camping in the vicinity; it certainly doesn't qualify as a portentous event signifying the beginning of the last-days. By the way, the sink whole swallowed one empty 'trailer' and one empty car - the owners were away doing something in some other holiday location. Nobody was killed and no camp-site was swallowed.

PS: Russia isn't attacking Syria it is supporting the government of Bashar Al-Assad by bombing its enemies. It is attacking Syria less than the USA currently is.

Massive was not my word, but it was the word written in the article I read. I only saw a video. Had I been there it would have scared the yikes out of me. LOL. And I did not say any of my post portended anything having to do with the end times.
