The 2nd Coming

I’ve been studying scripture and prophecy from Islam, Judaism, and Christianity concerning Christ’s life from each perspective.

Most recently I’ve been focusing on prophecy concerning the 2nd Coming.

My question to each of you: how does your Church believe the 2nd Coming will take place exactly?

Of course scripture is vague on the details concerning when, but how?

Would you know him if he stood before you? How?

Since Christ is God He will be as easy to recognise as is God. No creature can see God and not know it.

Nabeel Qureshi's book, "Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus" gives some insight into how certain Muslim sects are looking for messiah to return and establish Islam throughout the world. Qureshi does a great job comparing the two belief systems of Islam and Christianity.

The only way Islam can be grafted is if the only prophet they can ever acknowledge besides Mohammed, Messiah, returns...

Considering some of the evils that have worked their way into Islam, the 2nd Coming is their greatest hope.

They won’t have to renounce Mohammed to follow Messiah.

They would have to acclaim Christ as God incarnate, Lord and Savior. There is no realistic prospect of Islam itself making that adjustment.

Islam is far from Abrahamic faith. Their scripture consist of christian gnostic lore that was popular at the time, their version of Jesus is a fictional talking baby prophet inferior to Muhammed. God will deal with Israel during the great tribulation as for followers of Muhammed, well we know where the false prophet is and we know where his followers go don't we?
God have mercy on them but adding and taking away from scripture has a price of plagues to pay.
I do however believe that every knee will bow so when Christ returns they will know it's him.

Sorry I don't follow. They definitely have a window to Truth, many Muslims have read the Bible and see the contradictions and have converted, I own the quran and the message is the complete opposite of both the old and NT.

Your words are riddled with incorrect absolutes.

Islam is rooted in Judaism and retains so many of its principles, most even...

Their prophet was attuned enough to recognize Christ as Messiah in his first incarnation. Maybe they don’t understand the atonement yet.

Is it possible Mohammed was called as prophet by God and fell? Or was commanded to lead in a way we don’t understand or think of as goodly?

Is there some reason to think God is absolutely good? Remember, there is one who wanted everything to be perfect, and he is eternally enraged over not getting his way.
