Is the winning team expected to choose any charity of its choice...or choose from a list you have in mind, Lamm?

My original idea was to have each winning team member PM me with a choice of charity. From there I would hope to have duplicate choices to form a poll for those winning team members to vote on. I'm not sure if I would get duplicates or if I'd have to choose 2 or 3 myself from those selections for a vote? I could also randomly choose 2 or 3 to form a vote by putting pieces of paper with the selections into a hat to pull out. The choice would not be mine to make as this is the fun part for members :)

That sounds like a good plan. Thanks.

Okay. My hunch is that it would be best to settle this before the September end date arrives.

There are 7-9 members on each team participating at the moment. It's possible that not all will PM me with their choice of charity to vote on. I think the best thing is to wait to see how many of the winning team responds with a charity and then how about this...they vote on that list but cannot vote for what they nominated? In that way, it's possible we'll have multiple votes. From there I think there should be a choice of 2 from them to finalize a vote (even if by then it's their nomination).

Its fine by me. I was just interested to know that there is a format in place prior to the determination about which team wins. I think there ought to be.

Once a team wins and I start PMing the winning members, they will only have a week to reply to my PMs if they want their nomination and then their votes to count. I will put the deadline in the PM. Late replies will be rejected.

Well where have you been lately? :D This thread has been up for 9 days now.

I come & go fairly quickly never staying too long in CH, just long enough to answer a post or start a thread (or several if several seems like a good idea) and then I go and do other things.

You, dear friend, need to post more :p

That's part of the issue, though. Longer posts take me a long time - much longer than some others here - in order to sort out my thoughts appropriately; Especially in theology sub-forums. Hence my lower count. I've explained that before. It's why I don't start threads or respond in length. It'd take me hours.

Yes, friend ImaginaryDay2, I see the difficulty. Sorry to have prodded you. It was intended in good humour.

Understood. I've been a bit "uppity" the last few days anyway. Forgive me. :)

Turtlehare requested it. When I posted the first round of numbers I had written that it wasn't meant for shaming.
