Relaxing.

I made some very very tasty peri peri sauce today. Way better than store bought. The other day I was in the supermarket and wanted some. Nandos was the only one being offered. Ingredients included Propylene Glycol Alginate. Generally considered safe but I don't like chemicals in my food. Sorry Nandos, you motivated me with that one ingredient to make my own.

Got a recipe online, and it is very tasty. Heat treated and a little lemon juice and peel and it will last for a while too without refrigeration.

Also made some almond milk today, a fair amount of it. Some got frozen for later. Now I have a bunch of almond meal. What to make of it. Add it to cereal? Mix with spices and cook? Hmm.

Sitting around feeling a bit mopey today. The weather outside is nasty so doing much outside isn't on the table. Lots to do on the house but waiting to get my stitches taken out after my little accident with the wallpaper scraper last week. Hopefully I'll be back in action next week. I've got a backlog of work to get done, including getting more insulation in place before it gets any colder.

I woke up earlier than I wanted, but not absurdly early. It's 06:47 now and I woke about 30 minutes ago.
