While logged out I looked at his quote and it says Attachment 963...I checked using 4 browsers. None say Invalid Attachment, etc.

Sigh. You have to click the attachment (as one would do who wishes to view it) to see that message. Also, you have to click it while being *logged in*

http://christianityhaven.com/showthread.php?3795-So-What-are-YOU-doing-Part-4&p=113278#post113278 <---- click the attachment in the quote while logged in.

In some browsers the attachment automatically shows. So no, you don't have to click it nor always be logged in to see it. I think with Edge I saw it without being logged in.

This is still true. It still gives the message I mentioned. I'm not pretending.

That's because the attachment changed from 963 to 964 so yes the old link was no longer valid. I fixed it.

Winding down ready to go to bed, thinking about how cold it's going to be in my crawl space. Sadly I have to be in there to replace the insulation I lifted to run new cables, but it got very cold very suddenly, so I don't want to be losing any more heat than necessary. Maybe I'll get to it tomorrow. What I really need is the sun to hit the roof for a while to warm it up in there. Then I can run my new cabling a bit at a time.

I also need to check the insulation in a couple of the bedrooms because there are cold spots on the walls and the ceilings. I suspect the elderly blown cellulose isn't as uniform in thickness as I'd hope. Good thing I've got a stack of 9" thick fiberglass up there to work with :)

I am typing replies on CH after having a bath and before cooking lunch. It's Sunday, of course.

Just realized I've been missing the new season of Hell's Kitchen (Gordon Ramasy cooking competition) for the last six weeks because I have no use of the TV at this house. I'm going to really lose it now... :/ :D

I am mashing corn (turning it into fermentable sugars using a combination of different heat levels and enzymatic activity).

And succeeding, finally!

Learning that the Detroit Lions really are so inept that the Cleveland Browns (record: 0-8) are giving them a challenge. 0-8.

No worries. The 'need to know' in that sentence is "Detroit Lions are inept"

Finished bottling off some beer. Making mid strength brew now, I dumped the dextrose I was using to bump up fermentable sugar content.

Tomorrow I'm going to have a go at brewing my first all grain. With barley. Having recent success transforming corn into sugar has given me confidence to take this step. It will also cost me less. Somewhere in the neighborhood of $5-7 to make a couple cases of beer instead of $28-30.
