I once considered killing the fox, even though I shepherd no wildlife to protect from the likes, but decided there was no need - as it was just acting out it's nature as a natural omnivore and not bothering me.

Been hauling fiberglass today. The hardware store had a special on if I bought 20 of them. I figured they might not all fit in my car so my wife went with me in her car. Turned out they did fit in both our cars but there wasn't a lot of room for error. Thankfully she still had enough space to do the grocery shopping as well. I'm taking a breather from carrying 20 rolls of fiberglass, one at a time, from outside up into the attic. It's done wonders for my Fitbit stats today.

Just found out that my rolls of fiberglass weigh 14lb each. I shifted 20 of them out of the car and up two flights of stairs. That explains why my arms ached last night.

It also explains why it was hard work to move a pack of six of them without cutting it open first...

Fun and games for me today. I managed to gash my wrist stripping wallpaper - not sure how it happened but suddenly felt a thump and realised I'd stuck myself with it. I'd nicked myself with it before but this time I did it properly.... so off to the ER I went to get put back together again.

It was funny, the triage nurse asked me to rate my pain so I said it was at the bottom end - aside from a dull ache it didn't hurt at all. Apparently some people go in walking and talking but rating their pain at 9 and 10. So now I've got a nice bandage on my wrist and may take a few days off the home renovations. It was a bit embarrassing sitting waiting, having not only not showered this morning but also being covered in the remains of the assorted fiberglass and wallpaper sandings I'd been working on. My guess is I didn't smell too great...
