If you keep your kitchen towel on the oven handle/rack, how do you deal with the fact that it drags all over the floor every time you open the oven fully?

I've never seen someone do that. I had a thing to hang it on, on the wall, but that broke, so now I hang it on a drawer.

My mom used to have that and she'd hold the towel in her hand, gathered up, as she lowered the door down.
