What's something you often ate in your childhood but never eat now and why?

Stuffed cabbage and we don't eat it because my husband doesn't like it and I can't make only 1 or 2 for myself because the recipes make an entire pot full.

My dad often made sauerkraut and sausage 😁 however, I don't want to stink the place up. Once in a while i will as a treat. Corned beef and cabbage, too. Mostly because I couldn't find corned beef where I live - until about a year ago when I found out about a guy that supplies restaurants, but also packages by the pound! That's also a rare treat. Watching my weight.

Then there's liver and onions... liver... and onions...

Yeah, sauerkraut is banned from the house here by my husband. My daughter and I still like to open a tiny can every now and again when we grill out brats or sausages.

My mom is a great cook... I can't think of anything she served that I didn't like.

There are things I ate as a boy that I don't eat now but not because I don't like it (Cheerios comes to mind; I don't eat breakfast cereal anymore).
