The emphasis on denominationalism is disturbing to me. I couldn't name any denomination that doesn't display sinful human tendency.
I discern a local church by its obedience to scripture and desire to obey God. Willingness to observe, question, interpret and apply God's word is necessary. Some denominations have given up seeking and have settled for traditions regardless of biblical legitimacy.
