Suppose your denomination suddenly vanished or you moved to an area without any churches in your denomination then what denominations would you consider joining and why?

I would consider the Presbyterian Church in America, Southern Baptist, and the new Global Methodist. I know that sounds like a lot of divergence in Doctrine but I consider all three denominations faithful to the core Gospel message of living out a faithful life in Christ while maintaining (at least for now) traditional and Biblical attitudes toward moral issues.

BTW- I now attend a non-denominational, reformed leaning, elder led, credo baptist church.

I would consider Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, Global Methodist, Anglican Church in North America, and non-denominational if it were a good fit. Important factors for me right now are faithfulness to the Gospel, a good children's program and a church with lots of families that is growing.

I would consider a church if it was consistent with its beliefs according to the Bible. I don't want to group all churches of a particular denomination into one group because there are some churches in most mainline denominations that have lost their way.
I was at one time Baptist, but I don't consider myself Baptist anymore. At least not Southern Baptist with its history of racism and I don't hold to once saved always saved idea

This is a toughie, although I've thought about it before. I might attend a church that I respect (and have done so in the past) but which isn't in agreement with me on some important matters.

However, when it comes me joining a different church, there are hardly any that would be good alternatives for me.
