Yesterday, I looked at the forecast for the city in Indiana in which I grew up (to see what I was missing), and saw temps in the 90s, so I'm not missing anything (except for less humidity)...LOL!

For me:

Sun rise: 07:13
Sun set: 19:24

I see I am further from the equator than you. :D

In Theory we ought to have almost the same sunrise & sunset times given that equinox is nearly upon us.

Yes, I observed the 5 minute difference in yours vs. the 11 minute difference and concluded you would have to be nearer the equator. The absolute differences between corresponding rise/set times could be accounted for by our relative east/west positions within our time zones.

I'm at about 32 degrees south. Give or take. But at equinox latitude does not make much difference for sunrise & sunset times.

That's odd...I'm at about 29.5 °N latitude, and so, in theory at least there should be a smaller difference between the amount of daylight than there is for you. But, you are closer to 12/12 than I am.

Yeah, Bermuda isn't terribly far from here. :D

I remember when I was a kid, people would talk about digging a tunnel through the Earth and coming up in China...now I had no idea what an antipode was, but I could easily tell by looking at my globe that a hole dug from North America through the center of the Earth would not come out in the northern hemisphere. I could see that anyone in the contiguous 48 states would come out in the Indian Ocean. No one cared when I began correcting them.
