Warm and sticky. Took a nice walk this evening with my wife and it was warm but a nice cool breeze took the edge off the heat. But after about 9pm it really starts to feel warm and sticky in the house. Thankfully we've got air conditioning in the bedroom and the study.

It was almost 80 when I woke up and the humidity was really high. We hiked anyway but up in the hills there was a nice cool breeze so we did the long hike and survived! I think next time we should bring a cooler of ice for when we're done.

There were a lot of trees down and debris on the roads from yesterday's bad storms. Today is sunny, warm and less humid but too late in the day now to go for a hike. Tomorrow first thing before the humidity rises again I'll be out on the hills.
