I resent having to pay for a glass of water at a restaurant in the big cities.
Yeah and I think 2 dollars for a glass of soda is to much as well, they rip you off and everywhere is doing itThat happened to me when I used to eat out in Chicago!! I would go out to eat with friends during lunch when I worked there and was shocked that I had to pay $2 for water!! I couldn't afford that along with my meal because I didn't make a lot of money at first. Once I started making more money I just didn't go out to eat as much for lunch.
Is that all you resent, Arsenios?

How about AIR at the gas station! :Nooo:
Around here air has become freee once again but for awhile they were charging a quarter to put air in your tires
They charge $1 here! There is a free air place too but I forgot where it is. I have my own little machine to put air in my car tires. Haven't used it yet.Around here air has become freee once again but for awhile they were charging a quarter to put air in your tires

They probably installed credit card takers because they are going to raise the prices even more, like everything now a days.It is also a dollar here. I had to use it twice in the last two weeks due to a nail in one of my tires. I'm sure somewhere it must be free, but I don't know where. They even accept credit cards now with some of the newer air machines if you can believe that
How much was the TV license. I don't think we have them here or at least I never had to have one.We pay for a TV licence here because the BBC don't show adverts in between programs.. I hate paying for this but you can't have a TV without one or get fined a £1000
In BC, we pay carbon taxes - tax on the air we breathe. I resent that. I also resent that we pay more taxes than any other province in the country, all because we have the prettiest province and government takes advantage of that.
Taxed on breathing...well that's new. I think you win in the thread
"If you drive a car, I'll tax the street,
If you try to sit, I'll tax your seat.
If you get too cold I'll tax the heat,
If you take a walk, I'll tax your feet."
