Do you really not yet see yet how contagious the pandemic is, and that people die from it and there is no cure? It is not just a cold, if it reaches me, which I really try to avoid, it would surely kill me. Not all people have the same constitution, but you should not want to be contagious with what would kill others, either.

These events are not the end-time scenario. Christ is not coming back right afterward, not even the rapture is about to happen because of these things. The tribulation times come later, and believers will be removed to not be here where judgment comes on the unrepentant for their wickedness and destructiveness in this world, nothing else in this world for being removed is promised.

We will be here still seeing consequences in this world from our ways of living that contribute to the worsening world, though some of us did seek living with the good stewardship we should have for the world. God's creation needed more from us.

The pandemic was actually foreseen, even by more than a decade ago. So other things foreseen are very likely to come.

People will not awake in time to avert catastrophe and we should stop assuming the status quo will continue. We need to begin factoring in the likelihood of economic and social, as well as ecological, cataclysms.

The future is unlikely to be much like the present. It will become frightfully bleak in the time ahead. Climate will destabilize, rising seas will flood much of peopled and arable land, extinctions will cascade, wars will erupt over dwindling resources, plagues will douse exploding populations, and people wracked with fear will terrorize each other and turn to dictatorial demagogues as leaders to save them from a world out of control. These things are not far off.

These should be seen. We who are believers need to change to not contribute to destructiveness anymore. It is not justified by what is shown in the Bible. God cares for all of God's creation. We do need much more godliness in this world, it is only those seeking God's will on earth as God's will is in Heaven who will have that. Alternative ways to live are really possible. If we hear God is calling us out, to live away from this with more responsibility in living, we should pay heed and be obedient in that. We then should find those we want with us for that. And it would be soon.

Remember Jonah and the city of Nineveh...

Jonah 3:5-10 King James Version (KJV)
5 So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.
6 For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.
7 And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water:
8 But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.
9 Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?
10 And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

I am stunned at the current events, I never thought we would get so deep into political, economic and social, etc.. turmoil so fast. But my wife keeps reminding me, that its prophecy of the end times being fulfilled.
