Also, God gave specific instruction in that the "clean" (not the "not clean") flesh that could (not had to) be eaten could not have "the blood" in it (Gen. 9:4 KJB), and the "fat" already belong to the LORD (Gen. 4:4 KJB), and such was given "even as the green herb" (Gen. 9:3 KJB), just as the differences between the Tree of Life, & Tree of knowledge of good & evil (Gen. 2:9 KJB), and as the "green herb" (healing & service for mankind; Psa. 104:14 KJB) & the "thorns" / "thistles" (Gen. 3:18 KJB, a representation of sin to be rejected; Pro. 22:5; Heb. 6:8 KJB), and as "clean" & "not clean" (Gen. 7:2,8 KJB) beasts. Some of have incorrectly read Gen. 9:3 KJB* in thinking God allowed the eating of all flesh of any beast, but it simply is not so, while at the same time misunderstanding the intent, and length of time God allowed it. Look at the lifespans of the patriarchs before the flood (in the previous study on Gen. 5), and then look at the lifespans after, when mankind ate more and more animal flesh. Just as God said would be, the lifespan of mankind diminished until it is just under 100 (Psa. 90:10 KJB; most of the times, some exceptions) for the majority on earth.
Once the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the true "Lamb of God" (Jhn. 1:29,36 KJB) took place at Calvary in AD 31, would there be any more need of animal sacrifices? No, none ever again. Even the Temple itself would be completely destroyed in AD 70 (Mat. 24:2; Mar, 13:2; Luk. 19:44, 21:6 KJB).
