What did you want to be when you was a child and did you actually do it as an adult.


Like I wanted to be a nurse. didn't actually become one in my working life outside but turned into one as a carer for children and family members.


What was your dream job as a child..

I wanted to be a famous singer.m Nope, didn't happen. I do sing in church though. Seems like we have discussed this on another thread. Oh Well! :rolleyes:

When I was 5 I wanted to be a zookeeper. Until I learned most had to clean the cages ;)

When I was 10 I wanted to be a writer.

When I was 12 I wanted to be an opera singer but I'm too bashful.

When I was 13 I wanted to be an artist...so I became one :)

I always drew. When I was 6 or 8 or so I said to my friend I wanted to make cards for birthdays by hand and sell them for one cent, so everyone would buy them from me LOL.
I make maps now and they get em for free and I still get paid lol.

When I was really young I wanted to be a veterinarian (sp?) and take care of animals...though I'm not sure anymore, if I wanna take care of someones huge dog that could bite or, or someones poisonous snake

For a while I wanted to work at a kids farm. Then once I saw a guy clean up there. Was glad I didn't pick that career. But with the zoo at home I come close.

When I was about 7 I wanted to be an astrophysicist. When I was at university I changed my mind and decided to become a Mathematician. I did. But I worked with computers starting as a programmer and ending as a manager. It paid well. It was fun too but I am glad to be retired :)

I dunno..just lost interest I guess and sorta grew out of hip hop..I still like it though listen to other types of music too. Rapping is harder than most people think it is.

And no I did not forget the C.. LOL

I wanted to be a doctor for a while, just like my sister. I even applied for the study, but there were too many who wanted that and then you had to gamble and I didn't get a place. Houses, studies, you have to gamble for everything here. Glad they didn't take me. I can't even see blood.
I heard those stories of my sister when she made a mistake. The worst thing I have done in my career is let 3000 copies make of a map with a mistake in it.

Can't remember. It was years ago.
We lately made an atlas. Lol we forgot to put on some layers in a few maps, things were missing and they just sold those things, nobody noticed except for one guy from the library. Ha he said to that man who wrote the whole thing and told us what had to be on it: It's no good at all!!!! Then he came with a list of what was all wrong.
Hahahahahahaha.
This is an atlas about old stuff that disappeared decades ago so most people dont really care if its correct anyway.
