One would imagine that the priest was a house resident, a local and known to all of the town. One would imagine. But he was not. He was a foreigner to the house, and he was also uninvited and unwanted by one of the main residents.
"Who are you?" he asked.
"I am Erynnis Icelus" she answered. "But I am also known as Erynnis Funeralis, Zerene Eurydice, and Nymphalis Antiopa"
"Indeed, it does appear so. That is to say, if mere appearances could be trusted"
"You have reason to doubt these?" was the irritated reply.
"I might" he answered. "I see beyond the vision projected. It is a vision, and that only. A vision that could become, but that is not certain"
"You speak in riddles, Priest. Tell me plainly, what do you mean?"
"You already know. You will be eaten from inside by the thing you have done. In the end, you will be truly transformed, or you will rot. The choice is yours. But for the present, the vision is only that"
