What's the worst thing you've had to clean up?

Having worked retail for a fair portion of my life, the restroom could be a disaster area. Sometimes people would miss the toilet and it was the attendants job to clean up whatever was on the floor. Arguably the worst was a young man who seemed to be in there for ages. When he left, he didn't walk out - he opened the door and ran and kept running. Upon entering, I found the place littered with porn magazines. And, his seed, everywhere. The sheer amount of it made me think he'd been backed up for at least a month if not more.

My daughter used to have projectile vomiting when she was an infant and toddler. It was awful to clean up.

Can't think of anything specific relating to a spectacular mess, aside from the odd issue of vomit. Removing a dead shrew from a mousetrap that had been there for a couple of days in the height of summer wasn't a big mess but the smell of it made me want to wretch. Of course you can't remove a mousetrap without getting reasonably close to it.

Curiously mice in mousetraps have never smelled anywhere near as bad as that thing did.

Mop and paper towels, lots of them.
