Frankly, I cannot imagine how anyone who has followed politics at all closely could say what you wrote here. The truth is that Trump pursued those agenda items, as President, that he had campaigned on, probably better than any other president in the past half-century.

He restrained illegal immigration, built the wall as much as Congress would permit, defended the second amendment, reduced taxes for the Middle Class, brought industries back to the USA from abroad, strengthened the military but started no new wars (unlike all his predecessors of recent times), made our allies pay a fairer share of their national defense, supported Israel's right to exist, and reduced unnecessary government regulations on business and personal freedoms.

That said, how about comparing his record with Biden, who in only 100 days has already violated the majority of the promises he made during his run for the presidency?

Oh, and as for the "dig" about Trump gaining some supposed "monetary advantage" from being president...it has been estimated that it cost him something like two billion dollars to take time out from his businesses in order to help the nation as its President. And he gave his presidential salary ($400,000/year) back to the US Treasury, which to my recollection no other President in my lifetime did.

Trump's opponents would fill the space with insults and lies, and thus derail the page. And this is not merely hypothetical.

I'm not sure if the script he uses for his blog (it's not Wordpress) has any plugins to censor certain words or to keep comments for approval, but I'm sure he could hire a programmer to code those features into his blog.

It's really not that simple to automatically censor words, especially given the way some words have different meanings in different cultures and different contexts.

The term used as a derogatory slang for a homosexual in the US is also used as slang for a cigarette in the UK. The term for a female dog is often used as a term to insult a woman. A word that may be crude slang for male genitals could also refer to a water shutoff or a part of a clock. Good luck getting a computer script to figure out whether the exact same word is acceptable or not given all the variables.

A certain other Christian forum had a really irritating habit of censoring things that weren't even remotely offensive. If you look through the OT there are all sorts of tribes named - Gilgashites, Elkoshites etc. All of them contain four consecutive letters that, in isolation, are a term to describe feces often used as a curse word. Of course if someone really wants to swear and comes up against an automatic censor they can just misspell a word or tries some other term to see how comprehensive the filter really is.

Trump could always use a verification type system where he requires people who want to comment to submit their Drivers License first to get their account approved. This is a new thing that's happening now on some sites. I think it reduces a lot of spammers and scammers.

Wouldn't that make the page wind up looking something like this: "You ___ are ___. You dirty ____." (??)


But we'll see what transpires. At present, the page looks to me like it's the bare bones of something that is planned, not the final product.

Well here is a part of the internet I never wish to see again. I'm not supportive of censoring but Trump really should run some of his content by a PR team first. If he already does.... I say no more.
