What's your method to treat a mosquito bite? I have 2 bites on the top of my foot that are driving me crazy.
First of all, I don't worry about 2 mosquito bites. Or, 3 or 4. Mosquito bites are a dime a dozen.
But, if you go down to the coast of Texas, you will encounter hundreds of mosquitos eatin on you past sundown. Make sure you don't pass out outside by yourself.
That said, here is a 'home remedy' of mine passed down through my mother's side. It is for any skin irritation. It can be for skin infections or bites from any thing such as poison ivy or poison oak. I have used it often and found it always works. Even on a 'staff infection' I caught when nothing else would work.
Hard wood ashes and water. You make a poultice out of it. A thick paste. Put it on the infected area and it will kill it. Just be careful, as ashes and water makes lye. But if you got a staff infection, and no antibiotics are working, who cares?
