Biden has said for months that he wouldn't pardon his son Hunter, and last night he went and did exactly what he said he wouldn't do. Thoughts?

This should surprise no one, I can't see how anyone could have really believed him when he was saying he absolutely would not.

The Left is having a cow because now when Trump pardons anyone then Trump can say, "It is not as bad as Biden".

Considering who Trump chose to lead justice and his remarks concerning those who oppose Trump and Trump himself given his penchant for going after those who were against him I agree.

Here's the thing...Hunter admitted to doing wrong in the court. He pled guilty. So it wasn't as if people were "going after him."

Ya' know, I been thinking since before he started getting in trouble over the gun and tax stuff: None of this would likely have happened to him if he had just acted like a man should, been responsible, and taken care of his child with Lunden Roberts instead of doing everything he could to avoid it.

That's what attracted so much public attention to him in the first place.

As always, we are the engineers of our own problems even if we don't realize it at the time.

The big thing many miss about this is the fact that the pardon was a blanket pardon covering over a decade for anything he may or may not have done. I really think an amendment to the constitution be made limiting pardons to only federal crimes a person was convicted of. It probably will never happen but I think it should happen.

This sort of suggests that there are crimes that no one knows Hunter has committed yet, except maybe his father or others that were involved in them.

This is not a good sign for the moral condition of our country and its leaders.

That's really sneaky of Biden. I think it shows his character that no one else has considered doing it until now where such an amendment to the Constitution might be needed.

Isn't that crazy that they know he's done more crimes???

It's possible that it's worded specifically to cover things that have yet to surface. It's also possible the wording is intended to shut down any attempts to throw mud in the hope some of it will stick.

Which do you think is likely to be true?

Hard to say, and generally I prefer not to speculate on what people may or may not have done.
