God is A spirit, not three, just one. Jesus is the perfect representation because he was born and lived perfectly in the Spirit that is God therefore was God but also man

The verse says "God is spirit" not "a spirit". The verse is telling the reader something about the nature of God; namely that he is spirit. The verse is not telling the reader how many persons God is.

John 4:24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

You are not using the kjv...

Of course I don't use the KJV; it is heresy prone. In Greek the verse starts by saying πνεῦμα ὁ Θεός which is "spirit the God"

Well, that makes no sense. Worse, just when I think you have come to terms with belief in the triune God, you flip back to Unitarianism. It's not exactly my business, but I'm sort of sad about it.

I have always believed in the simplicity of God ever since I was a child. The trinity kind of turned me off because I just wanted to speak to God and not in confusion or in mystery. God is a mystery but my obligation to him is not.
If trinity is simple for you then hallelujah!
Jesus is simple to me :) dont be sad brother, we still serve the same God.
I am not sad for you, don't be sad for me.

Ah, even Philip didn't get it. Show us the Father.

None of us thinks it's simple, but it is what the Bible teaches. That's the reason we believe it, not because we think we can fully comprehend it and rather like the idea.

Catholics do not publish any KJVs. Catholics use various bibles. In the past, before you were born, the Douay bible was used by many. The Knox Version too. Now the RSV and NRSV as well as Good News Bible, the Christian Community Bible, The Jerusalem Bible and many others.

Im sorry but no church is perfect, I say church but my common sense has always been one spirit of God 33 years before my church agreed with me, im 33 now, just saying that I have always believed in simplicity, it was until later that I learned that Jesus, that very name IS my mediator to call on God. Trinity is a 3rd century version of my eternal view of what God is.
The 3 are titles for a mysterious God but not the mystery God, trinity claim that it is a mystery, why add more mystery to the already mysterious godhead? That makes no since to me, i'll stick to my guns unless you can show me scripture that perhaps I missed that proves trinity as a MUST for salvation.

Does this not show you that God expected different versions for the sole purpose that we should fight the good fight in his name but never be devised, which we are doing his will as long as we dont call another brother a fool?

The New American Bible for Catholics (NAB) is used a lot. I like it although there's nothing that beats the KJV.

Nope. It shows that people like to make money from publishing bibles for which they own the copyright.

Ok you say God IS spirit, so what about evil spirit? If God is general spirit then that must include all spirit

We weren't talking about choosing churches. The doctrine of the Trinity is a belief.

I say church but my common sense has always been one spirit of God 33 years before my church agreed with me, im 33 now, just saying that I have always believed in simplicity, it was until later that I learned that Jesus, that very name IS my mediator to call on God. You've said this many times. If it's easy to grasp, you'll believe it, even if it's not Biblical. Even if you fashion your own theory. I cannot do that nor can the others here who tried to explain that none of us--you included--is capable of completely understanding the nature of God anyway. That's why they say that it's a mystery, but at least they know what that mystery is and are not falling into saying that Jesus was just a man who taught good things, or that the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are three different gods, like a divine committee, or something else--all of which are easier than belief in the Trinity. But the Trinity is what the Bible teaches.
