yo does anyone here have skype? I'm lonely and dont really have anyone to talk to right now...

I have Skype but haven't been on it in probably a month I used to talk to some friends from CF all the time but the group just doesn't have time anymore. I'm so tired in the evenings because of work and I don't stay up late like they do since I have to be up at 5AM.

We'll have to get a CH group going in Skype right?

If you've got a PC, or a smartphone, or a tablet, and it has a means to record sound (microphone) and to play sound (speakers) you can use Skype. If you've got a regular desktop you may need external mic/speakers.

The software is free, and Skype-to-Skype calls are free. With a balance you can make calls (Skype-to-phone) cheaply, and with a subscription you can bring the price down even further. My subscription costs something like $12/year and gives me 100 minutes per month to call the UK.

My laptop mic is awful and no one could hear me on Skype so I bought an adapter for my mic and haven't tried it to make sure it works. You guys can be my guinea pigs? LOL

There is a web-based Skype also so you don't have to download the software and I tried it to do the test for my mic with the skype-test but that's all.
