As many as you want, you just have to travel really fast to actually gain anything overall. London to the east coast is an 8 hour flight but you land three hours after take off because of the time difference.

Yes, although Lamm asked how much you could gain by always flying west. It's a shame they retired Concorde - you could fly from London to New York and arrive before you took off. Apparently some (rather wealthy) people were rumored to have seen in the Millennium in London and then hopped on Concorde to see it in again at Times Square.
