What’s the most dangerous basic belief a person can have?

I couldn't say what the most dangerous basic belief is, but thinking that morality is subjective is one of the most dangerous ones I could come up with off the top of my head at the moment.

Yep, and that is a product of the so-called theory of evolution.

That they are very smart or intrinsically better than others, essentially hubris. You may very well be better than others at certain things but any stray from the reality of your abilities into self-delusion can do a lot of damage. Especially if you’re in a position of power.

I think the most dangerous basic belief(s) are related to what is termed "herd mentality". Sheep are not known for their independent ways. The flock moves East, and they follow. It moves North, and they follow. If there is a black sheep that moves the other way, they either envy it's independence, or it's courage or whatever noble intention causes it to do so, or they assume it is just vainly trying not to be a sheep, for the purposes of attention or pride. Not many are willing to be a loner, outside the social and psychological security of the flock. So the sheep follow their shepherds into wars, to killing other sheep from other tribes. Into immorality because discretion and prudence is bigotry. Into false beliefs because they wouldn't dare to question the narrative being fed to the other sheep. Into folly, because their shepherds are just there to fleece them, but they are much more concerned about being called a "conspiracy theorist" or an "anti- this" or an "anti - that" - because the current mind control machine has convinced them that anything is better than that. Please, shut off your mind. And they do. Switch the dial.

So one of the core principles of Christianity?

The Bible terming us as sheep is not a compliment. Sheep are easily led astray. Now we have a pretty good indicator of sheep out there when we see them in their sheep masks. Sadly, many in the chruch are wearing these symbols of submission and obedience, but obedience to the wrong authority. It has been shown conclusively that masks do nothing to stop viruses. They do work for one thing though, that is to get people to submit to tyrants.

A Biblical example of heard mentality is the crowd shouting, "crucify him" and "free Barabas."
