In the holy scriptures God is often attributed with glory. Sometimes the glory appears to be a synonym brightness and light. Sometimes for something different and rather elusive. Do you have something to say about the glory of God?

The glory is an eminence glow from His body, just like Yeshua at the transfiguration. It just emanates from Him. Now in His Father's case, that glow is so encompassing that no one has seen the Father.

I think that sometimes God's glory was hidden to the ancient people we read about in the Old Testament at times, but we are able to see His glory in Jesus the Christ who died for us.

Do you believe that God has a body (aside from the human body of Christ which theologically speaking belongs to the incarnation)?

I think it means what it says that God looks like us except in a glorified body such as we will have. Big difference between the spiritual and the physical. Thus why we are instructed to be in the spirit

I won't even guess what form, what material He chooses, or whether His atoms are at such a High energy level that to give them any mineral substance name from our periodic table wouldn't do it justice. As far as image goes, He declared we are the image of Him, so that means, head, arms, legs, and body in the same shape as us.

Do you believe that God always had a body or did he take one on?

Before we were created, God obviously had a form from which He made us in His image. Yeshua solidified it when He became flesh and dwelt among us.

You didn't answer my question. Do you believe that God always had a body or did he take one on?

Do you believe that God is bound by time and has a past?

Why bind God? He puts restrictions on Himself. Whether to put His prophecies in earth's time, or to set aside a date dedicated... That is on God's appointed times. He is honor bound by them. Since God is infinite, what He did before He created us, is something we are not privy too. What He does now is by His word. If that involves a time allotment then He will do that according to His Will. I have no idea what He does outside of that.

visionary, Your posts imply that God is "made of" something. That he has arms, legs, hands, feet, eyes, nose, mouth and so forth. In short that he has body parts and substances. Which came first, God or these parts and substances?
