I'm not sure if it can be nailed down, but the clip is close to my understanding.

I wonder if maybe "glory" in connection with God is complex. Maybe too complex for people to fathom.

Does the clip represent your belief about the meaning of glory?

My concern is this WHERE is Jesus in that because even though God's glory is all those things in the video it left out the most important part to a Christian and we know that all of nature proves there is a God through His glorious creations but the most glorious of all is the Savior who saves us. I kept waiting for something in the video to come to the completion of the proclamation of the Savior and when I saw SAVOR I thought maybe there was a misspelling, but alas, it wasn't so.

It sounded like a string of platitudes to me.

I think they were all marvelous statements about God, yet, which god, you know what i mean? That video had the absolute perfect opportunity to declare God's greatest glory of salvation unto men through His Son and this is what sets our God apart from all the false gods.

There seems, in the holy scriptures, to be two categories for the glory of God.
  • First there is God's own glory which seems to be unchanging and eternal. It is what makes God God. He will not share it with another.
  • Second there is the glory that the faithful ascribe to God. The praises and acknowledgement of God as great beyond human comprehension.
Moses said to the LORD, "See, thou sayest to me, 'Bring up this people'; but thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, 'I know you by name, and you have also found favour in my sight.' Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found favour in thy sight, show me now thy ways, that I may know thee and find favour in thy sight. Consider too that this nation is thy people." And he said, "My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest." And he said to him, "If thy presence will not go with me, do not carry us up from here. For how shall it be known that I have found favour in thy sight, I and thy people? Is it not in thy going with us, so that we are distinct, I and thy people, from all other people that are upon the face of the earth?" And the LORD said to Moses, "This very thing that you have spoken I will do; for you have found favour in my sight, and I know you by name." Moses said, "I pray thee, show me thy glory." And he said, "I will make all my goodness pass before you, and will proclaim before you my name 'The LORD'; and I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy. But," he said, "you cannot see my face; for man shall not see me and live." And the LORD said, "Behold, there is a place by me where you shall stand upon the rock; and while my glory passes by I will put you in a cleft of the rock, and I will cover you with my hand until I have passed by; then I will take away my hand, and you shall see my back; but my face shall not be seen." (Exodus 33:12-23 RSV)
