What is The Character of God?

I have been using some links having to do with Japan recently in this thread. Japan has been a pagan nation. Last century, they took all the best fruit from Europe, but they never planted the tree. At times, they have been successful. At times they have failed badly. What happens when the fruit goes bad? There has been a link between Western Occultism, Gnosticism, and Japanese Occultism in their anime, and what they produce. They cite it in the credits of certain movies or shows. It isn't even hidden. A lot of Christians are just blind and deaf to it.

People who love God, they tend to reproduce. A man with God's Holy Spirit, he may be full of energy, looking to marry and love a woman, and sire 12 children. When the birth rate is low, in Christian countries, that may be sign of a falling away. A rejection of righteousness is a rejection of God.

In Japan, it may be worse. They accepted the best fruit of Europe without planting the tree. They may have, in history, persecuted some Christians with Circumcisions of the Heart. They may be a curse there.

The Question: What do I mean by "A Rejection of Righteousness is a Rejection of God?"

In the Old Testament, a pagan country may have done ok as long as it was "Some Form of Righteous." Someone like Spartan King Leonidas may have been a kind of righeous. There may have been a "Form of Righteousness" in Roman Virtue. Someone like Cato the Younger, about 100 years prior to Jesus Christ, he was lamenting the loss of Roman Virtue.

God sent Prophet Jonah to Nineveh. Nineveh was a major city of Assyria. God sent Jonah to Nineveh to warn them. They were doing objectively wicked things towards a threshold where God may have unleashed his judgement of War, Famine, and Plague.

In the Old Testament, someone could end up in the better part of Hades, the afterlife, like Abraham's Bosom, being "Some form of Righteous." The Talmudic Jews, the Pharisees, saw themselves as righteous. Saul The Pharisee believed he was righteous.

There is no righteousness outside of God. Our righteous deeds are like filthy rags to God. Apostle Paul worked to get people to let go of the idea there was righteousness outside of God towards them accepting God's Holy Spirit. Letting God in. The Lord is a shepherd.

In the Old Testament, a pagan country could have done alright given they were some form of righteouess and not doing objectively wicked things.

Christians in 2024, what Jesus did they have?

- Did they have Gnostic Jesus?
- Post Modern Mush God Jesus?
- Mormon Jesus?
- Lets all get along Jesus?
- New Testament only Jesus?

God has character. We read the New Testament from an Old Testament understanding. A rejection of Righteousness is a rejection of God. Given someone is a Christian, a saved person, in God, they have a fear of God. As a Christian, they were choosing God's righteous ways. Jesus chastises and rebukes those he loves. (Hebrews 12:6)(Revelations 3:19)

What Jesus were you serving? Fake Jesus? Duddy Jesus from the movie "Dogma?" You should be serving Jesus as son of God, Messiah, Prince of Peace, Lord of Lord of Lords.....someone who inspires a Fear of God. Fear of God is a good thing. Fear of God may help keep a man out of sin.

Plato and the Forms is something I discovered, around the age of 30, after finding God in a big way. Plato and The Forms, it has been "Spiritually Relevant."

Short Video: Plato On: The Forms

The Stone Rejected By The Builders Becomes the Chief Cornerstone. (Psalms 118:22)(Luke 20:9-19)(Acts 4:11)(1 Peter 2)

Given we are centered on God, with the Character or correct Form of God, with God, we may be able to see God working in the world. Given we can see God, we may be able to see things "Not God" as well. Things "Not-God" may have had a character and were doing some very particular things. Are you aware of Satan's Scheme's? There may have been a Form there.
Why were you drawn to a Greek philosopher's teachings instead to to Jesus' teachings and to the whole Bible? Why is Plato so important to you?
