The CH Challenge (Team 1 wins)

Welcome to our newest event here on Christianity Haven called the CH Challenge. As I stated in the title, this will cost you nothing. It will cost ME though but we'll get to that in a moment.

Members here on CH who are active are divided into 3 teams. If you don't see yourself listed on a team, please forgive my oversight and reply in this thread so I can add you onto a team.

What's the point of this? Well, the three teams will be posting in specific forums to try to not only help boost the site with some exciting new theological conversations but also the team that acquires the most points at the end of 6 weeks will get to determine which charity I personally donate my own money to (Right now the amount is $20 USD). See, it costs you nothing and you get to help out someone along the way.

There is a new "currency" that you can see underneath the CH Cash called CH Challenge. For each thread you create in the following forums you will receive 2 points (World Religion & Speculative Theology, Christian Theology, Christian Discussion - No Debate, Christian Advice Requested & Denomination & Faith Movement Discussions). For each post you make in those same forums you will receive 1 point. We wish to have threads and posts that give value to the site so we have a requirement that the threads/posts must have a word count of 10 words or more. We are not looking for spam content whatsoever and copy and pastes for the sake of posting are frowned upon. We desire good quality threads and posts here at the site.

The winning team will vote upon a charity of their choice! Let's do something as a community and have fun in the process!

I just did a test post to make sure that the new currency of CH Challenge works and it does but it did not show it immediately upon posting my reply. I had to wait a second and then go back in and check. So please check to make sure your posts and threads are adding up in your post bit area found in the upper right hand side if you're using the full site. Tapatalk users I'm not sure how you can see the CH Challenge posts? Maybe someone else can give advice on that?

Tapatalk users won't see it but what you can do is click on a thread and select the three vertical dots on the top far right and click web view, you might have to sign in again in web view but there you can view all that good stuff just like in a regular full site browser.

When Romanos first integrated Tapatalk I created an account but I don't use it. I prefer the full site through the browser because I can do more things with it.

Hey cool. Now we get to see which Christians walk the walk and which Christians only talk the talk unless they're talking the talk here and getting points for their team and that's a different talking the talk as opposed to not walking for a count. I think I confused myself with that talk.

I have my Excel spreadsheet all set up with the teams inserted...guess what? Team 1 has twice the amount of the other 2 teams! I was stunned because I assumed they would all be even by now so early on. Good job, Team 1.

Tis a shame that a Christian cannot take a few moments of time to write 10 words or more in benefit of a charitable donation but who am I to judge because I don't know the time or heart of any human on this message board.
