Looking outside at the turtle in my back yard and wondering if she's laying eggs?

Mis-reading Lamm's post and not noticing the part that says "at the turtle" :D

Relaxing with coffee outside. The birds are happy this morning. Off to Seattle today then Detroit in the morning. Vacation time with family on a classic car tour through Wisconsin. :)

I suggest stopping at Aves Taxidermy and Cheese while cruising through Wisconsin.

Just got back from a walk in the woods. Had to clear some fallen brush from the trail so I could get past. The uphill parts of it were much easier than last time.

Been sitting enjoying the sunshine. Thinking about getting another battery powered light because we've had a couple of power outages lately with the storms. It's a bit of a drag if one of us needs to go to the bathroom and has to leave the other in total darkness. Just debating which one to get.

Spent a lot of today at a museum and then went out to eat. Finished our walk and now it's raining.

Didn't feel great this morning so didn't do much of anything. Didn't even go to church today. Neither of us likes to skip church but we just weren't feeling up to doing anything. I took a long nap in my recliner, and in the afternoon we went for a walk around town to get some fresh air, then spent a couple of hours sitting on the porch watching the world go by.

Do you have a Harbor Freight Tools near you? They sometimes have a coupon for a free tiny LED flashlight. Those things are super bright for being so tiny!

I've got a couple of small LED flashlights, with those it's more a question of using them so infrequently the batteries are dead when I need them. I always have multiple Dewalt batteries charged and ready to go.

That said I do like the idea of free more than the idea of $70 even if the $70 light would be useful for when I'm working in dark areas. As the guy who just bought my old car said, things that are free are worth saving up for :)

I think those things only take one battery too so that's not too bad when they die out.

Some of the really small ones take a single AA battery. The Dewalt lights take a single battery too, just a much bigger battery :)

The FlexVolt batteries last for hours on the area work light. They are the kind of thing where if the power goes out just after it gets dark, one battery will last until it's time to go to bed and still have plenty left to give.

I don't remember how long these little guys last. My dad collected a bunch of them for when we stayed at my parent's house and slept in the basement so we could find our way upstairs to the bathrooms before he put up some lights with sensors. The little flashlights were so bright that it was easy to find our way around in the dark. Mine has lasted 5 years but I don't use it often.

Walk in the park today. Chalked up 8000 steps. Not as impressive as Tuesday's 25000 step hike but it all helps.

My daughter's car was making a noise like the brakes need to be redone but today the noise is gone. It must have been construction debris that got caught! I took it for a drive and no more noise. Yay.

Went to the doctor this morning to get my insulin pump adjusted. I started it on Wednesday. Going well so far.

Waiting for my husband to get home from work so we can figure out how to put the bike rack onto the pickup truck. We're going bicycling tomorrow morning!
