I woke up at 04:00, which is quite early but I fell asleep around 22:00 so I suppose 04:00 is not too surprising. I suspect I may have a nap later to catch up on an hour or so worth of sleep.

Being lazy.

I am having breakfast, today it is some of the chick pea curry that I cooked yesterday and some rice. A small serve, just enough to keep me going for the morning and some of the afternoon :)

My Thai curry turned out well as well. And I made the rice too, with lemon. Really tasty. I've been experimenting with Thai cooking for awhile now and was fortunate enough to get paste from a Thai lady. Amazing things that can be done with it.

I am quite fond of Thai foods. They have such interesting tastes. And they are light compared to the thick sauces in a lot of Chinese cooking.

Thai food is awesome. I used to work a couple of blocks from an amazing Thai restaurant. It was horribly expensive, but every once in a while the boss would take the team out for lunch and claim it as a team building expense :)

Preparing to take down the last few laths that make up what was the basement ceiling. I needed to get a new handle for a narrow saw blade to cut them, because they are wedged in place. I can't get my jigsaw in there because it's so near the breaker panels there are cables everywhere. Now I've got the handle I can finish the job, which will also help me trace the cables I need to work with. Hopefully by the time tomorrow morning is done I'll have the basement lighting circuit fully replaced.

I just started experimenting with that flavor combination. Ethiopion is exceptional too. Sometimes I'll eat borscht for days. But I usually like to cook once and eat for a few meals. So it tends to be much of the same thing.
