Went to church at 5:00 ..... Came home around 9 ..... Super Bowl was 28-3 ...... Watched the most incredible comeback win in history!
Biggest comeback. Record. Overtime in Super Bowl. Record. Bradys passing yardage total. Record. 5 Super Bowl wins by a head coach. Record. 5 Super Bowl wins by a quarterback. Record. There will probably be more records listed that were broken.
It was an absolutely stunning performance.
But it was still better to go to be amongst brothers and sisters in Christ for prayer and worship night.
The prayer was so focused and encouraging, and the worship was Christ centered and uplifting as usual.
If there was any down side to the night , it was that before heading to church, I had a bit of an unfortunate misunderstanding with someone I love very much, and what's worse, is it was over something we should unite over, not divide. But I pray and believe our love and the love of God will see us through.
Now, just sitting here contemplating it all.
What a wonderful Saviour and friend we have in Jesus! God bless you.
