Hi everyone. Can't make up my mind about forums any more. I have to make some real friendships offline. My life just can't be online.

That's understandable.

I have some friendships of people I met online for over 20 years now We had been on a community board (dial up) and met up at some of the get togethers. Some of us remained connected after the board dissolved and it's been a great blessing.

Hi Lamm and Bill. I'm just going through a tough time wondering if online forums is the way to go for me. I don't have any email friends from them or people who talk extensively with me. I just don't know anymore. The holiday time is also hard for me. I probably say it every year but the family deaths bother me very much at this time of year. I miss my parents, sister, birds.

I'm just trying to cope listening to lots of music on youtube on the smart tv. I hope your day is a good one everyone!

Ruth I know how tough it can be for as we get older we lose more and more people that we cared about and loved. If you want my e mail I would be happy to give it to you. I sure dont want you to leave, I pray that in some way your holiday is filled with joy

Aw, Ruth, I feel for you! I've been immersing myself in a lot of Christmas music and movies to keep my mind off my health. The new year will soon be here though!

That makes things a lot easier!! Do you have any food traditions in your family? My husband's family does homemade ravioli!

We used to have turkey but the past few years we have been having prime rib. We will see what they cook this year, you never know. I love ravioli!!
