Hi Bill, Mark and Lamm, nice to see you folks here posting. I am doing somewhat better than I was. Not as sleepy as I was. I'm thinking of calling a housecleaning service just to clean one time and get things in order here so then I will be caught up with everything. Things have not been done around here and it is quite overwhelming to think about. Have not been motivated to do much of anything for a long time now.

Hey Ruth! I have been wondering how you're doing.

I think hiring a cleaning service is a great idea...having those things caught up will make a world of difference in your outlook...I've been there and know what it's like.

Our country is having a hard time now with the Dallas police shootings and I've heard there have been more shootings of police. Then there are the police who shoot black people and the outrage about that now. I've been watching CNN. There are large protests happening now in several cities.

I see Amish every day where I live We also have them post in newspapers in the want ads when they look for work. (Yes, they have phones!)

I live out in the country and so speaking of newspapers I even saw an ad to rent goats! It was hilarious!

Another warm and sticky day.

Took a walk in the woods yesterday with a guy young enough to be my son and fit enough to put me to shame. It was a good walk but usually the people I walk with are my wife and her friends, who are way less fit than I am. I'm not used to being the one who has to stop for a break while my hiking buddy hasn't even broken a sweat. I probably should have postponed it, I was at a barbecue on Sunday and ate something that didn't entirely agree with me so I wasn't feeling at my prime even before hiking up a big hill on a rocky trail.
