hullo ruth hun. i miss bbqing steaks. our apt doesnt alllow it. i do have a grill pan though..youve given me an idea for labor day. grill up some corn on cob, bone in rib eye steak and roasted red potatoes with asparagus. -hungry yet?

Yeah MS, that sounds real good. I broiled the steaks in the stove. I live in an apartment and don't have a grill.

Suzy is sick. She is throwing up and has the runs. I may have to take her to the emergency vet today.

She has had diahrea for 4 days and now throwing up. I took her to the emergency vet and she has 2 meds to take, she got injections to hydrate her. She seems okay.

Thank you Mark. We went to the vet today, the emergency vet on a holiday and the price just to see the doctor was 88.00. They gave her injections of water under the skin, also gave her 2 kinds of pills for her stomach. The bill was 196.00 but of course she is worth it. She is such a good girl!!

It seems they always have their emergencies at night, weekends, holidays, etc. But I am so happy to hear she is recovering.
