I do recall hearing that there is evidence the Earth's magnetic field has reversed polarity many times in the past, and that there are indications that such a reversal may be upcoming. How would that change geography?

I think some catastrophic tsunamis , and devastating earthquakes could happen. Some islands could disappear.

Antarctica has been covered with a thick sheet of ice for 15 million years, long before there were any humans. :)

Oh ... :chairfall: ... I mixed up my Poles ... I meant North Pole ...
Some Turkish guy had an old genuine map with all the details before it was even discovered ...
No ice.
We move there ... :fish2:

It is possible that the map being referred to is the famous Piri Reis map, which some say depicts an ice-free Antarctic coast, but serious scholarship holds that there is no reason to believe that the map is the product of genuine knowledge of the Antarctic coast.

The whole earth will change and not for the better according to Revelation, the islands will disappear, the sun will burn men, it points to dramatic events

The continents drift. Once Antarctica was equatorial. It would be snow and ice free (except perhaps for high mountains) then.

All my life I lived in places where winters were cold.
I think I start getting older. My knees and feet started hurting for the last couple of winters. :)

... yet I still think like a kid!

Thanks, :)

The north of Australia is tropical.
Although I am stopping liking winters (getting older I guess), there is something about change of seasons. :)
Change is good.
If I move someplace where every day is the same ... I don't know. :)

I live on Lake Erie and that's where it's happening, too.

The "Great Lakes" are rising? I lived in Michigan my whole life (until four years ago) and never heard this.
(Disclaimer - I am for the full disclosure of all climate related science. This is not currently happening)
