I've worked with [unm]MarkFL[/unm] quite a bit over on Math Help Boards, helping to administer the site; and he, knowing I am a Christian, thought CH would be an interesting place to hang out. So, I signed up, and am interested in discussions about theology in particular.
I'm Christian first by the grace of God, Reformed second, Presbyterian third. That's a very firm order. Christ is my identity. I believe the Bible is inspired, inerrant, and infallible, the only ultimate rule of faith and practice. I am utterly dependent on God for everything.
I subscribe to the Nicene Creed, and the Westminster Standards. I attend a Reformed Presbyterian church here in Raleigh, NC. I'm married, also by the grace of God, and have four children ranging in age from 5 months to 8 years.
I am a mathematician by training, and a systems engineer by vocation, although for the last 3.5 years I've been teaching in classical Christian schools. I've gone back into engineering.
It's fun to see that Mark has implemented a number of our MHB tweaks here. Great job, Mark!
