policy about entering U.S. vaccinated

Apparently one of the world's greatest tennis players cannot compete in the U.S. Open this year due to his refusal to be vaccinated. Apparently it is U.S. policy that any foreign travelers have to be fully vaccinated in order to get visa and enter the country. Do you think this is a fair and appropriate policy for the U.S. to have?

Any foreign travelers entering the country legally through a manned portal of entry that is. No, it is not fair at this point. Citizens only need show a test, there is no reason why that cannot be extended to international travelers as well, many (most?) other countries have already dropped that requirement.

Considering that the administration's policy is to allow thousands of unknown persons, healthy or diseased, to enter our country across the southern border, the answer probably has to be "No."

The policy is unacceptable since the vaccine doesn't prevent covid. With the newest variant I'm seeing data that is showing that even the fully vaccinated and boosted are in the hospitals and ICU.

I think the vaccine policies for covid should end unless they actually come up with a vaccine that truly prevents illness as well as not having side effects or causes severe anaphylaxis.

Applicants for state jobs back home had to be vaccinated for C-19. Then a lawsuit ensued based on the Nuremberg code/law prohibiting a mandate for experimental vaccines, which the COVID-19 injection is. [More like genetic mutation formula]

So now, people can apply and work for the state vaccine free.

It should be a basic right to refuse such a thing regardless, imo.
