Well maybe there is an easier way to do that to you. But if its forced someone will not make it.

When I was confirmed I had my forehead marked with the sign of the cross. It might be why nobody has been able to kill me yet.

Have very many people tried to kill you?

If you believe what the Revelation says the choice will be simple, take the mark or die. It's a free choice, even if one of the options doesn't seem all that attractive in secular terms. Crucially the Revelation talks of bowing down to the image of the beast, so it's not as if you're going visit a nightclub and get your hand stamped to allow re-entry only to find you inadvertently took the mark of the beast.

I just told you they can't make you die . . its a 50/50 they die trying too. You would have to do it as infants, but no parent will allow it.
It would have to be like Charles Manson inverted cross on his forehead. Nobody will force that on me and live.

Lots of people have already done took the mark of the beast.

There is such a thing as tattoo removal surgery so it's not impossible to get rid of unwanted tats as you make it out to be.

The choice is the day which God made for man as the Sabbath or the substitute brought in by misguided men. You must understand the importance of the Sabbath, it was made by the Creator for man, and the maker of heaven and earth will not change it or substitute it. But did God know that this attempt to change His holy Sabbath would occur:

"And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. " Daniel 7:25

"Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them." Acts 20:28-30

God predicted long ago that, from within the church itself, there would arise men who would attempt to change His holy law. So the prophecy was true, and it has come to fruition as the Sabbath and those who kept it were swept away, and a substitute put in. And the church which brought it in boast it as its mark of authority.

"All of us believe many things in regard to religion that we do not find in the Bible. For example, nowhere in the Bible do we find that Christ or the Apostles ordered that the Sabbath be changed from Saturday to Sunday. We have the commandment of God given to Moses to keep holy the Sabbath Day, that is the 7th day of the week, Saturday. Today most Christians keep Sunday because it has been revealed to us by the Church outside the Bible." The Catholic Virginian, "To Tell You The Truth,” Vol. 22, No. 49 (Oct. 3, 1947).

"... you may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday. The Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday, a day which we never sanctify." The Faith of Our Fathers, by James Cardinal Gibbons, Archbishop of Baltimore, 88th edition, page 89. Originally published in 1876, republished and Copyright 1980 by TAN Books and Publishers, Inc., pages 72-73.

'Deny the authority of the Church and you have no adequate or reasonable explanation or justification for the substitution of Sunday for Saturday in the Third - Protestant Fourth - Commandment of God... The Church is above the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact.'' Catholic Record, September 1, 1923.

"But since Saturday, not Sunday, is specified in the Bible, isn't it curious that non-Catholics who profess to take their religion directly from the Bible and not the Church, observe Sunday instead of Saturday? Yes, of course, it is inconsistent; but this change was made about fifteen centuries before Protestantism was born, and by that time the custom was universally observed. They have continued the custom, even though it rests upon the authority of the Catholic Church and not upon an explicit text in the Bible. That observance remains as a reminder of the Mother Church from which the non-Catholic sects broke away - like a boy running away from home but still carrying in his pocket a picture of his mother or a lock of her hair." The Faith of Millions

"Perhaps the boldest thing, the most revolutionary change the Church ever did, happened in the first century. The holy day, the Sabbath, was changed from Saturday to Sunday. "The Day of the Lord" (dies Dominica) was chosen, not from any directions noted in the Scriptures, but from the Church's sense of its own power. The day of resurrection, the day of Pentecost, fifty days later, came on the first day of the week. So this would be the new Sabbath. People who think that the Scriptures should be the sole authority, should logically become 7th Day Adventists, and keep Saturday holy." Sentinel, Pastor's page, Saint Catherine Catholic Church, Algonac, Michigan, May 21, 1995

'If Protestants would follow the Bible, they would worship God on the Sabbath Day. In keeping the Sunday they are following a law of the Catholic Church.' Albert Smith, Chancellor of the Archdiocese of Baltimore, replying for the Cardinal, in a letter dated February 10, 1920.

'It is well to remind the Presbyterians, Baptists, Methodists, and all other Christians, that the Bible does not support them anywhere in their observance of Sunday. Sunday is an institution of the Roman Catholic Church, and those who observe the day observe a commandment of the Catholic Church.'Priest Brady, in an address, reported in the Elizabeth, NJ on March 18, 1903. This Rock

'Of course these .. quotations are exactly correct. The Catholic Church designated Sunday as the day for corporate worship and gets full credit or blame ' This Rock,The Magazine of Catholic Apologetics and Evangelization, p.8, June 1997

'The observance of Sunday by the Protestants is homage they pay, in spite of themselves, to the authority of the [Catholic] Church.' Monsignor Louis Segur, 'Plain Talk about the Protestantism of Today';, p. 213.

If we're supposed to love God with all our hearts, all our minds, all our souls and all our strength I'd say that includes worshipping every day of the week, Sunday included.

I'm not entirely clear how you got from my post into an extended commentary on the merits or otherwise of worshipping God on different days of the week. I don't see anyone given the choice to worship on a designated day or be executed, or left unable to buy or sell, or even a means that those things might come about based on whether you worship on Saturday or Sunday.

Read your Bible, not what others say or pretend to know, it shows that the mark will be over worship and what God made for man at Creation, and we see it in this clear split between God and the adversary.

Revelation 13:4
And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

Revelation 13:8
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Revelation 13:12
And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

Revelation 13:15
And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Revelation 14:9
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

Revelation 14:11
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Revelation 16:2
And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.

Revelation 14:7
Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

Exodus 20:11
For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Exodus 31:17
It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

The mark is not something that will wash off, it is the act showing who you follow, and your allegiance to that power, whether the Beast entity or God. Now how can you know who is the Beast/Antichrist power, well just look what this apostate church says and how it is above God and His Laws:

"No man has a right to choose his religion." (New York Freeman, official journal of Bishop Hughes, Jan 26, 1852)

"Protestantism has not, and never can have, any right where Catholicity has triumphed." (Catholic Review, June 1875)

"It is error to believe that Every man is free to embrace and profess that religion which, guided by the light of reason, he shall consider true." (Pope Pius IX, The Syllabus (of Errors), Issued in 1864, Section III, Indifferentism, Latitudinarianism, #15)

"It is error to believe that hence it has been wisely decided by law, in some Catholic countries, that persons coming to reside therein shall enjoy the public exercise of their own peculiar worship." (Pope Pius IX, The Syllabus (of Errors), Issued in 1864, Section X, Errors Having Reference to Modern Liberalism, #78)

"Not the Creator of Universe, in Genesis 2:1-3,-but the Catholic Church can claim the honor of having granted man a pause to his work every seven days." (S. C. Mosna, Storia della Domenica, 1969, pp. 366-367)

"The Pope is of great authority and power that he can modify, explain, or interpret even divine laws... The Pope can modify divine law, since his power is not of man, but of God, and he acts as vicegerent of God upon earth." (Lucius Ferraris, Prompta Ribliotheca, Papa, art. 2, translated)

"The Pope has the power to change times, to abrogate laws, and to dispense with all things, even the precepts of Christ. The Pope has the authority and often exercised it, to dispense with the command of Christ." (Decretal, de Tranlatic Episcop. Cap. (The Pope can modify divine law.) Ferraris' Ecclesiastical Dictionary)

"Had she not such power, she could not have done that in which all modern religionists agree with her; --she could not have substituted the observance of Sunday the first day of the week, for the observance of Saturday the seventh day, a change for which there is no Scriptural authority." (Rev. Stephan Keenan, A Doctrinal Catechism, On the Obedience Due to the Church, chap. 2, p. 174. (Imprimatur, John Cardinal McCloskey, archbishop of New York)

"The authority of the church could therefore not be bound to the authority of the Scriptures, because the Church had changed...the Sabbath into Sunday, not by command of Christ, but by its own authority." (Canon and Tradition, p. 263)

"Is not yet too late for Protestants to redeem themselves. Will they do it?... will they indeed take the written word only, the Scripture alone, as their sole authority and their sole standard? Or will they still hold the indefensible, self contradictory, and suicidal doctrine and practice of following the authority of the Catholic church and wear the SIGN of her authority? Will they keep the Sabbath of the Lord, the seventh day, according to Scripture? Or will they keep the Sunday according to the tradition of the Catholic church." (Ibid, page 31)

Gods Word shows us, but we must have open eyes and ears. This antichrist power will establish a enforcement for its day of rest whether secular/religious in an attempt to control the beliefs of people, basically mirroring medieval Christianity under the Dark Ages of papal control.

People of all social classes will be pressured to receive the mark of the beast on their hands or their foreheads. Just as the seal in the forehead identifies those whom God regards as His, so the mark of the beast identifies the worshipers of the beast.

Revelation 7:3-4 King James Version (KJV)
3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
Revelation 14:1 King James Version (KJV)
1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.

The mark of the beast is not a visible sign of any kind. Its placement on the hand or on the forehead counterfeits the instruction Moses gave the Israelites to bind God’s law as a sign upon their hands or their foreheads.

Deuteronomy 6:8 King James Version (KJV)
8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.

The hand has to do with behavior, while the forehead has to do with the mind or mental agreement. Some will choose to receive the mark of the beast to follow along or be part of the crowd, while others will be fully committed mentally and spiritually to this apostate system of worship.

The central issues in the final crisis will be worship and obedience to God in keeping His commandments. The Sabbath commandment in particular, will be the test of faithfulness and obedience to God. As the Sabbath is the distinctive sign of the obedience of God’s faithful people so the mark of the beast is the sign of allegiance to the beast.

Revelation 14:12 King James Version (KJV)
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Ezekiel 20:20 King James Version (KJV)
20 And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the Lord your God.

The mark of the beast involves the substitution of a human commandment for God’s commandment, a change by the antichrist entity of Gods Law.

Daniel 7:25 King James Version (KJV)
25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

If you truly look you will find the evidence of this fact is what was changed from a established from Creation a day of work, the first day of Sunday as the day of worship instead of the seventh-day Sabbath, the day set by our Creator. The attempt to change the sign of God’s authority to another day is an attempt to usurp the role and power of God Himself. The mark of the beast is the day put forth as a substitute by the apostate church, the papacy, who things to change times and laws of God. We have the following:

Revelation 13:18 King James Version (KJV)
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Paul describes him as “the man of sin” .If one looks, its clear this points to the papal power symbolized by the beast, whose blasphemous actions can be seen in the claims for itself, with the Pope supposedly standing in the place of the Son of God on earth.

"The Pope is not simply the representative of Jesus Christ. On the contrary, he is Jesus Christ Himself, under the veil of the flesh." (Evangelical Christendom, January 1, 1895, pg. 15, published in London by J. S. Phillips)

"Against this background of love towards Holy Church, 'the pillar and bulwark of the truth' (1 Tim 3:15), we readily understand the devotion of Saint Francis of Assisi for 'THE LORD POPE', the daughterly outspokenness of Saint Catherine of Siena towards the one whom she called 'SWEET CHRIST ON EARTH'." (Pope John Paul II, Apostolic Exhortation on the Consecrated Life and Its Mission in the Church and in the World, to the bishops and clergy, religious orders and congregations, societies of apostolic life, secular institutes, and all the faithful, given in Rome, at Saint Peter's, March 25, 1996)

"The Pope is of so great dignity, and so exalted that he is not a mere man, but as it were God and the vicar of God." (Ferraris Ecclesiastical dictionary)

"All names which in the Scriptures are applied to Christ, by virtue of which it is established that He is over the church, all the same names are applied to the Pope." (On the Authority of the Councils, book 2, chapter 17)

"The Pope and God are the same, so he has all power in Heaven and earth." (Pope Pius V, quoted in Barclay, Chapter XXVII, p. 218, "Cities Petrus Bertanous)

"To believe that our Lord God the Pope has not the power to decree as he is decreed, is to be deemed heretical." (the Gloss "Extravagantes" o.f Pope John XXII Cum inter, Tit. XIV, Cap. IV. Ad Callem Sexti Decretalium, Paris, 1685)

"Hence the Pope is crowned with a triple crown, as king of heaven and of earth and of the lower regions." (Ferraris, «Prompta Bibliotheca», 1763, Volume VI, 'Papa II', p.26)

"The Saviour Himself is the door of the sheepfold: 'I am the door of the sheep.' Into this fold of Jesus Christ, no man may enter unless he be led by the Sovereign Pontiff; and only if they be united to him can men be saved, for the Roman Pontiff is the Vicar of Christ and His personal representative on earth." (Pope John XXIII in his homily to the Bishops and faithful assisting at his coronation on November 4, 1958)

"This is our last lesson to you: receive it, engrave it in your minds, all of you: by God's commandment salvation is to be found nowhere but in the Church; the strong and effective instrument of salvation is none other than the Roman Pontificate." (Pope Leo XIII, Allocution for the 25th anniversary of his election, February 20, 1903; Papal Teachings: The Church, Benedictine Monks of Solesmes, St. Paul Editions, Boston, 1962, par. 653)

This is being spread worldwide by a unending number of news and social sources which on the surface seemingly no connection to Pope and the Catholic church, but they appear to be almost orchestrated or the same source.

Here are a few..."Give the earth a Sabbath day - CSMonitor.com
If we all reduced our driving, shopping, business, and energy consumption by one-seventh, we'd pollute that much less. We'd have to avoid energy-guzzling leisure activities, so maybe nix the long drives or movie marathons. Still, even if we left out the work and traffic that must go on – hospitals, police, utilities – the environmental boon would still be significant.

Religious leaders have joined to battle global warming and preserve God's creation. But in their rush to recycle, reduce, and reuse, they have neglected the pollution-reducing potential of a full-day work stoppage.

The Evangelical Climate Initiative, launched last year by 86 leaders, calls for international action but also directs concerned Christians to "keep your tires properly inflated" and "walk or bike more." Why not invoke the Sabbath and suggest that people live near their church and keep Sunday holy by not shopping or working? Then they could skip all driving one day a week....

Global warming has united the monotheistic faiths despite their other frictions. In the past week, Jewish, Christian, Muslim, and other religious leaders from around the world have convened yet again for a symposium on the environment, this time in Greenland in part to focus on a melting glacier there.

Together they could do much more by hewing to one of the oldest practices in their common tradition."...https://www.csmonitor.com/2007/0912/p09s01-coop.html

"At least one societal change resulting from the quarantine could do wonders to reinvigorate our national sense of family, faith, and community. Let’s give serious thought to reinstating at least some of the time-honored Sunday closure laws, sort of a one-day-per-week modified stay-at-home request. Such action would rededicate our society to a regular day of rest, family meals, civic associations, and religious observance.

By rededicating each Sunday as “a common day of rest,” we would say that the life of America is much more than never-pausing commerce and ever-grinding bureaucracy. We would proclaim that the heart of the nation transcends consumerism and looms larger than even the biggest government. We would emphasize that the real value in a country comes not from its GNP or tax collections, but from families, faith, communities, that it comes from “We the people.”

Many obvious benefits to faith, family, and community are certain to accrue from Sunday closings. Less obvious will be an economic uplift for the mom-and-pop brick-and-mortar shops that traditionally were permitted to open on Sundays, long before being squashed by malls, warehouse stores, and supermarkets which dominate seven-day commerce. Additionally, locally owned restaurants regularly served neighborhoods in the “blue law” era, further encouraging small businesses. For old-school sports fans, Sundays-at-rest may encourage a relaxed weekly afternoon watching or listening to nine innings of baseball, reinvigorating our once-dominant national pastime.

Of course, there will be plenty of entrenched opposition to a renewed Sunday for rest, reflection, family, faith, and community. Libertarians and classical laissez faire economists oppose any such restrictions on commerce, blissfully unaware that most states protected the Lord’s Day from big business encroachment for nearly two centuries, while encouraging free enterprise on the six other days. Even those who claimed “the business of America is business” were willing to concede one day a week for faith, family, rest.

More opposition to a restoration of Sundays will emanate from secular leftists, who on most issues vehemently denounce greedy billionaire capitalists. But on this matter their fear that more Americans “will keep holy the Lord’s Day” far outweighs their fear of unbridled capitalism. Better, many secularists suppose, that people go to supermarkets and malls than to prayer services. Better still that Americans become addicted to consumerism than fall for “the opiate of the masses.” Better, they conclude, an undifferentiated mass of Sunday consumers than Masses and services filled with Sunday worshipers.." https://newbostonpost.com/2020/04/0...ONnqdtV17pvY4JTg3n9PhMzqUIV6dHrYGou6atYZ1rmaE

"Green Sabbath Project
Increasing numbers of people see the wisdom of observing a technology shabbat, a break from all devices with screens. Bogotá, Colombia, has introduced car-free Sundays that the population savors. When Israeli cities shut down for the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur (the day of atonement), nitrogen oxide pollution in the air decreases for the day by 70-99% .
Try it. One day a week you’ll stop creating the need for more goods, stop using up natural resources, stop emitting carbon dioxide and other pollutants.
The Sabbath is said to be a foretaste of the world to come (Babylonian Talmud, Berakhot 57b). Literally. If you care about our future, about your well-being, observe a real sabbath day of rest. It helps cultivate community, self-discipline, inner calm and contentment. One powerful weapon in the fight against environmental deterioration and climate disaster may just be an age-old spiritual technology."..https://www.greensabbathproject.net/

And people have noticed the connection..."
End of the world: Why Pope Francis' plan for 2020 is ‘straight out Book of Revelations’ On September 12 this year, Pope Francis announced his plan to launch a global education pack to “unite efforts” to combat climate change. The leader of the Vatican called on world leaders to come together on May 14, 2020, to discuss his “Laudato Si” proposal to reduce global warming. He said: “Never before has there been such need to unite our efforts in a broad educational alliance, to form mature individuals capable of overcoming division and antagonism, and to restore the fabric of relationships for the sake of more fraternal humanity.

“An alliance is needed between the Earth’s inhabitants and our common home, which we are bound to care for and respect.
“I invite everyone to work for this alliance and to be committed, individually and within our communities, to nurturing the dream of a humanism rooted in solidarity and responsive both to humanity’s aspirations and to God’s plan.
“The most significant personalities in the world are invited to take part in the proposed initiative, political, cultural and religious, and in particular the young people to whom the future belongs.
“The goal is to arouse an awareness and a wave of responsibility for the common good of humanity, starting from the young and reaching all people of goodwill.”

However, by ignoring God’s instructions to rest on the seventh day.
He said in a video in October: “Pope Francis is referring to Laudato Si’, which is his encyclical on climate change, there he offers some suggestions on how to combat climate change, including reducing carbon emissions, carpooling, planting trees and recycling.
“These are not bad suggestions, but in the encyclical, Pope Francis also suggests Sundays with keeping a better environment.
“Page 237 reads ‘On Sunday, our participation in the Eucharist has special importance, Sunday is meant to be a day which heals our relationship with God, with ourselves, with others and with the world’.
“The implication here is that we need to have a law mandating rest on Sunday, so it appears that his agenda on climate change includes giving Sunday rest and worship mandated by law to improve the environment.”...

“The Book of Revelation describes a religious polarisation that takes place in the End Times, people will be divided into two camps, those that receive the mark of the beast and those that receive the seal of God.
“Those that receive the mark of the beast will be those that go along with Sunday rest and worship laws, while those who receive the seal of God will decide to stay true to God’s commandments and keep the seventh day holy, which is on Saturday, not Sunday.
“However, the Catholic Church changed the sabbath from Saturday to Sunday and no man has the right to change God’s commandment...."https://www.express.co.uk/news/weir...-change-2020-book-of-revelations-god-real-spt

The Sabbath is the "sign" of God's people, however a individual can be a Sabbath keeper or keep it strictly like a Jew and still have the Mark of the Beast. How so, well by following it in its false practices of worship, like this 'day of rest' for Mother Earth which still is really worship of the Beast. Lets look at the text closely...

Revelation 14:9-12
King James Version (KJV)
9And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Worshiping on Sunday is a direct way of worshiping the Beast, but there are other ways which we must be careful to avoid, and this secular 'day of rest' for the world is still following the worship of the beast.
So we have to keep ourselves clear of anything that worships the Beast and its image.

Scripture shows us what the law is and how we need to follow it.

Hebrews 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

Deep into our hearts it should go and be understood, not a surface understanding..

Isaiah 8:16 "Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples."

A seal was something that held fast and in this context was binded up.

Deuteronomy 6:2,8 That you might fear the LORD your God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command you....And you shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.

and we see it will be a sign...

Exodus 13:9 And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the Lord's law may be in thy mouth.

Exodus 31:13,17 Truly My Sabbaths you shall keep: for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations; that you may know that I am the Lord that does sanctify you....It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel for ever.

and it is forever. But look at what do you do on the Sabbath, can we say 'worship' God.

The Mark of the Beast is about keeping of God's law especially worship, same as it always has been, and the Sabbath is at the center.

Seventh-day Adventists teach the ridiculous doctrine that near the end of time the "mark of the best" of Revelation 14 will be placed upon those who worship on Sunday instead of Saturday.
