What’s the most important thing to make a marriage work successfully?
Married 52 years and counting. #1 reason for success. Knowing that death only breaks the marriage bond. Divorce and remarriage for any reason is adultery leading to an eternity in hell. #2, assume biblical roles for a husband and wife. 3# stay away from churches that permit divorce and remarriage. Do not hang out with divorced people.
