Okay, have it your way in your own posts. The thread is about what it is about. The video is about what it is about.
Sorry, but you lost that one. The VIDEO is about Mussolini and Italy. The THREAD was quite obviously intended as another attack upon President Trump, using a false comparison between him and Il Duce.

:Nooo:

With respect MC, given your previous comments about Donald Trump, it's really hard to see this thread as anything other than a cheap dig at one slogan used by Donald Trump. Especially since by post 14 you were banging the drum about impeaching him again.

Is it time to impeach Donald yet?

A lot of people said so when the slogan was first put forward. Both in Italy and in the USA.

I actually meant CH but I also think America is a great country with great people

It seems that a few people have been looking into impeaching him since he was sworn in.

Doesn't surprise me in the slightest, given how divisive politics is these days. Sometimes it seems we might as well move from the inauguration straight to the impeachment given at least 40% of the country is unhappy with whoever gets elected.

The USA is certainly a country with a powerful military and a great amount of wealth.

Interesting, given the underlying subject of this is obviously Donald Trump, I was reading a commentary the other day that showed how many people actually have some confidence in Donald Trump despite what they say if asked directly.

If people are asked what they think of Trump the chances are they will say something negative. But if people are asked more generally about their thoughts on the long term economic situation they are far more positive. If they truly thought so badly of Trump then logically they would also be gloomy about economic forecasts because if you've got a monkey behind the wheel it doesn't take a genius to conclude that the ship will probably crash. So it would appear that either people are less negative about Trump than they overtly express, or they believe the economy has little to nothing to do with the actions of the President.

It was an interesting read, I'll post it if I can ever find it again.
The housing bubble is going to pop...again...and the regulations on banks is being lifted. We have another economic disaster about to hit and no one at the top seems to care. Our present President has accomplished virtually nothing in his first 9 months of office, which does not bode well when the dam breaks.

The Right looked into ways they could impeach Obama. The process of obstruction until the next election cycle is getting very tiresome.

Every country in the world is filled with rebels in need of reconciliation. This is true for the US, which has a facade of righteousness and claiming just war when it is really just securing wealth in a group of elites. There is an oligarchy being made.

What makes you think any other country is any different when it comes to that issue?

A few people broached the subject now and then during the last eight years, but it did not make much of an impact; and neither the Right in general nor the Republicans in particular were moved to do anything about impeachment.

Contrast that with the Dems who announced their intentions from the moment Trump was elected and have already filed letters of impeachment in Congress. Of course, they attempted to impeach each of the four preceding Republican presidents as well. Several of the Democrat leaders have even said that it does not matter to them if the president has committed an impeachable offense or not.

The current families of the oligarchy were made in the 19th century. They replaced the landed families that made up the oligarchy of the 18th century in the fledgling USA.

The landed families want their power back. <_< It sucks for them, because those of us descended from indentured servants have no desire to bow and scrape before the Lords of the Manor ever again.

But now you bow and scrape before the wealthy - like mark zuckerberg and Elon Musk and so forth.

Musk and Zuckerberg have money, but they don't have the network of power that goes back generations. It is possible they may join such a club, but it is likely they will be used like pieces in a game of chess.
