This is awesome! Yes, he dwells in bodily form. He ascended in bodily form as the disciples saw and he remains in bodily form. The disciples saw a man rise into the heavens. He is man. A man the disciples could touch and see his wounds where he was hung on the cross. A man whose body was glorified because he could pass through the locked door. But still man. When we are resurrected we will have new bodies. 1 Corinthians states they will be immortal bodies.

He does , no one has said otherwise ,and the scripture states also that he is glorified and that we will be made like he is now . which means we are not already like he is so he differs from us . he is no longer flesh and blood .
the scripture says that mortality (flesh and blood) will be swallowed up of Immortality .we will be clothed in a new body .we will be made like Jesus is . He is the first fruit .

measure your traditions against his word not his word against your traditions.

Do you say yes or no to this? You've given a lot of other wording. The rest of us are saying YES even though the body has been glorified. He is still man. Are you saying NO? That He is no longer man? It's very difficult to read some of what you say because you do not give direct answers.

No one said he shed it.
But scripture states he is glorified.no longer unglorified it is not a question of whether the fullness off the godhead dwells IN him bodily but what form that body is. Since we are going to be made like him .we have to consider him to be sonethibg different to the earthy flesh and blood which we are.
Considering it is written .flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of heaven.
Great your using scripture.
But again it is not a scripture speaaking about his ascended form ..its abiut a different topic. Read what leads up to a jverse and then what follows on from it. Then use the text in the context is is presented.

We will still be men when our bodies are resurrected in the same way Jesus is still man and He now dwells in the heavens but will soon return for us and we shall all rise to meet Him and be transformed. Revelation calls us men so we shall remain men, not becoming a different species, but in a glorified body as Jesus has: And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

i dont know . scripture says he is glorified .It says he became man he died and rose again as a man he ascended as a man .- is he flesh and blood now in his glorified state? , scripture points out he is something else , something we will be made into when he comes . so why would categorically state that which i cannot in all honesty know .
this is why it is ok to have reflective discussions . and then we go to the lord in prayer and say .lord i know noting teach me YOUR ways that i may not walk i the errors of the flesh reveal truth to me that i may not walk in the carnal mind f the flesh which does not comprehend the things of the Spirit . and we believe that he will give us revelation, in the Spirit of these things, that are too high for us for his ways are not our ways and his thoughts are not our thoughts , and yet - by the holy Spirit within us we have the mind of Chrsit , (if that is we have the holy Spirit ) . but we will never grow in his comprehension if we place a stone of denominations teaching on a pedestal between our self and him and then stumble over it .

You don't know but you say to not listen to what any denominations teach even though you don't know the answer to this so what basis do you have to even tell us all to not listen to denominations teachings on this? Cuz you don't know the answer in the first place? It doesn't make sense to me unless your the type to go around bashing denoms as part of your everyday personality because I know people like that who are know it alls but really don't know it all and all the time theyre telling people avoid denominations.

I prefer to be honest. Everyone else is saying "it's like this " and woe to you if you disagree .
But the Word of God says things which question many religious stances .
So I like to take those religious stances and measure them against the Word of God.
The religious stances are almost always incomplete and often don't measure up.(that's not saying they are fully wrong either )
The other thing I'm always questioning is motive.
Why does a person or for that matter a denomination, say or promote the things they do?
And,do they live out any of the things they argue about.

Why does a person or for that matter a denomination, say or promote the things they do?
Because, throughout Christian history, theologians of all stripes have debated them and come to a general consensus about them. Learned men and women whom agree on the basics of the faith. The Nicene Creed is a good place to start.
And,do they live out any of the things they argue about.
Between denominations and faith groups there are certainly differences, but on the basics, most agree. The Holy Spirit did not stop speaking upon completion of the canon of scripture. Of course, we must measure what is said against scripture, but if there is no disagreement, then it can be affirmed.

Good stuff.... and excellent example of Sola Scriptura!

Much of what you posted isn't, of course, but here's the obvious: what you did was make statements, and employing Sola Scriptura, held them up to the Rule of Scripture (a practice called "Sola Scriptura"). You do that now and then, some of the boldest, clearest employment of Sola Scriptura seen here at CH. And yes, I TRY to make a point of applauding you when you do! Once again, good work there!! Very good work!!! Thanks.

Your argument is inaccurate. I include citations from the holy scriptures so that those who do not recognise the statement's sources can look up the verses and see from whence the statements in the creed are drawn. The Catholic Church venerates the divine Scriptures just as she venerates the body of the Lord, since, especially in the sacred liturgy, she unceasingly receives and offers to the faithful the bread of life from the table both of God's word and of Christ's body. The Church defines holy scripture as constituted by 73 books listed in the canons of the early church councils of Hippo, Carthage, and Rome then reaffirmed at the council of Florence and once again at the council of Trent. The 73 books are received as an authoritative part of apostolic tradition. The Church also teaches that the interpretation of holy scripture is a Church duty rather than an individual's right. Sola scriptura is rejected by the Catholic Church and by myself. But if it pleases you to see it in my posts then who can correct you when you so wilfully misrepresent the facts of the situation?

You did something VERY Protestant! Good for you. You didn't just type words and exempt them from any truthfulness - the requirement that we just swallow whatever you say cuz you just said it. Nope. Not CCC 87, etc., etc., etc. Nope. You employed Sola Scriptura! Did a wonderful job of it, too! You do that now and then and I hope I always congratulate you when you do! You held up your statement to the Rule of Scripture (a practice called "Sola Scriptura") employing the Protestant practice. You did it really well, too! And I agreed completely with you.

Good for you!

No. I did something wholly Catholic. Protestants copied or inherited the habit of framing theological argument with apostolic tradition including the holy scriptures.

If you don't know an answer then why in blazes would you want to argue because you might just well be arguing against what God is trying to get your head to figure out?
