Is Immersion required by Scripture when a baptism is performed?

I had no agenda in posting the video just thought it bazaar is all, but infant baptism probably has to do more with the babys parents being overly paranoid, its ok as long as they know later on they were baptised, i believe you should be conscious of it personally.

On the other hand, the idea concerned baptism, not just religious things that seem bizarre; and it followed several posts like this one:

If you were born Catholic at least your head will get into heaven, Achillis' heel type situation.

Right lol, it was a response to snerfle, using humour and over exaggeration though I stumbled on this video a few days ago and found it bazaar and outrageous, the other video also concerns me.

But is there any Scriptural guidance that would make immersion the way to go?
Was the their on the cross immersed? In fact, was he ever baptized at all?

Correct. He wasn't. And we presume that he was saved.

But again, it has been pointed out repeatedly on these threads that it is possible to be saved without being baptized at all, meaning that the debate over immersion, triple immersion, affusion, or sprinkling can at best be an argument over which way God prefers to have the water to hit the candidate in the case of the great majority of us. ;)

For that, Scripture provides no answer.

Alas, it isn't. Christ didn't institute Baptism and the Lord's Supper for no reason, nor does the NT itself speak of the importance of these ordinances for no reason.
