Is Dominion over the earth for this age or the next?

Some preachers teach that the world will be converted to Christ and that thus the dominion of the kingdom of God over the Earth will be established progressively step by step as godly men and women take authority over the various spheres of the human enterprise. Do you think that is how the Kingdom will come?

what scripture do they base it on when they say the whole world will be converted ?

I think it is one form of Dominionism, mainly from the leaders of New Apostolic Reformation movement and related Hebrew Roots movement. I do not know what scriptures they think teach the doctrine that they've proclaimed. I do know that in Reformed circles in the 1970s through to the 1990s there was another form of Dominonism preached based on post-millennialism. That movement was spearheaded by men like R J Rushdoony, Gary North, and Greg Bahnsen and they leaned heavily on the apologetics of Cornelius Van Til.

You could, although sometimes people ask questions to find out what others think of the topic. Whatever I believe right now may be wrong, and maybe someone else will give an answer I may not like but is actually accurate.

Sure, but if the question isn't related to the issue of whether dominion is for this age or the next then it's still a thread derail. When it goes so far off the topic of dominion it's better suited to another thread, right?

Absolutely not, that teaching is iin grave error as evidenced by Revelation itself. Even during Christs 1000 year reign there will be rebellion and a final battle at the end of it

You say it is in grave error and that revelation is against it but you don't spell out where revelation says something against it.
