Breathe slowly and methodically. If I can get my breathing rate down to 3-5 per minute (this counts breathing in and breathing out as one breath) the chances are it will help me relax until I do fall asleep.

Failing that there's always melatonin supplements. I prefer not to use them but sometimes needs must.
