The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

This is stuff that my son asked me when he was 5. Why did God make earth quakes? Why did God make satan?
Some angry ex christians on a forum once asked me a load of those questions and I said: Didn't your mom tell you that?
If God was a moral monster and satan is already a moral monster, there's noone who's good, how did rabbits come to exist or dogs who save their humans from a house fire or friendly people? A moral monster can't create that.

I won't imagine a response from God, but I would say generally that some of the ailments humans suffer is a result of their actions. For example, inbreeding. If there were no others created but Adam and Eve, it had to occur. Same as with Noah and his family, unless the flood was local and others were around. It had to occur. However, there are biblical prohibitions against it later on, perhaps as genetics became more specific to groups of individuals. Close inbreeding can cause problems that Mr. Fry might put on God. O k, so he doesn't mention that. "Bone cancer in children". Without knowing specifically the conditions under which this happened it's difficult to say why it happened. It is pretty well established in lots of peer reviewed science literature that diet plays a large role in the manifestation and fostering of many diseases, including cancer. It's also known that mothers who smoke or drink can cause harm to their children. Typhus is a war time disease that kills people living in crowded conditions, exacerbated by malnutrition. Is God responsible for any of this? Or does man's actions play a part?

I'm gonna pray for that man now. Didn't know him. It's scary to see how arrogant people have become towards God. The guy from the parable who hid his talent said he knew God was a hard man. It only showed that he was bad and lazy himself.

With a guy like that I wish I was like John G. Lake. There was a man who hated God and he hated him too and spoke bad about him and then he was sick and he just went to his house, put down his hat, commanded him to be healed, picked up his hat and left and then the guy was healed and saved.

You don't have to be good to create something good. Plenty of people give their lives to save other people, and according to the Bible, no one is good. So how can those people be good?

Fry was honest when asked if he thought he would get into heaven. He said he wouldn't want to. That is the truth of the non-believer. To be in heaven with God would be hell for them.

It is only puny fallen man, in the whole of the universe, that blasphemes God. Even Satan and his angels or demons don't blaspheme God. But little fallen man, in the small speck of time he lives on earth, loves to boast against God.

Even when God's people come in the presense of God, they are filled with awe and a right fear. (Is. 6:5) "Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts."

In that day, no one is going to be in any condition to start questioning or demandng of God anything.

The dog has God's love. Of course animals know when they die.
Okay yes noone is good but God alone, but they have His love. Else you don't do that.
He doesn't even have a terrible life. It is understandable that someone gets mad, but the fact that someone gets mad at God, then there is no fear of God and they don't understand it. My son had pneumonia. I got furious when my kids even fell from their bike and had a minor wound that hurt them. I hate pain. I cannot stand it. I hate sickness. I hate the tiniest cold. But because I'm not taught wrong in church, like oh God could easily just click his fingers, but nah, He doesnt feel like it today, that is infuriating. But I didn't get that sort of teaching in church, so I got furious at satan and rebuked the pain. I couldnt care less if ppl would stare at me on the street. I did mumble though in the hospital and he was healed. God wants to heal always. Disease comes from satan.

Close inbreeding can cause problems that Mr. Fry might put on God.

Who made the rule that inbreeding would result in illness? You talk about this as if it was an intrinsic aspect of reality that God had no control over. God created that rule. God created our genetic code and all the rules related to it.

There is virtually no rational reason I can imagine why siblings would be prohibited from building families other than "because God made it so". Animals rarely exhibit inbreeding avoidance and we don't find that gross. The fact that we consider it gross in the human world is a social construct based on the effects of inbreeding, which is something that God created.

We don't thank God because we have fallen and now we have all these problems, we thank God because He came to earth in the form of man, lived a perfectly sinless life we couldn't, died on the cross in our place and we are forgiven. Those who believe in that Gospel will have eternal life. Stephen Fry sees no reason to believe that WE need forgiveness.

Fry's point won't matter.

God is Dictator. Just as Jesus Christ will be when He brings in the Kingdom. Oh yes, there will be plenty of unhappy unbelievers during the Kingdom reign. Christ will rule with a rod of iron in righteousness.

It's unreasonable only to the unbeliever.

Why? Why are we linked to one another in that way? Why can't we all start out a clean slate and be given the very same opportunities that Adam and Eve were given in the beginning? Why do we inherit our parents' DNA? Why do we inherit our ancestors' sins? Why do the actions of some affect others? Why are things like this? Is the current state of affairs an intrinsic trait of reality or did God create things like this? If He was the one Who created things like this, then Fry's point remains.

Because noone cared and alone I can pray for some family members or pets. We wanted to save Holland, get everyone healed. You need unity for that and fervent prayer. I'm not gonna fight all these sickness demons on my own and get all the satanic attacks. I'm crazy Henkie not.

Why doesnt God just save this city? Cause they're a bit more fervent and united in Africa than here.

Why do you need those things? I mean, I'm trying to understand the logic. Why would an omnipotent God, Who is able to stop all the demons from having interaction with humans, requires people to beg Him in large numbers and a certain amount of intensity in order to help them.

Why do people need to be fervent and united in order to defeat entities that Jesus supposedly already defeated by dying and resurrecting? Look at the Old Testament great prophets. Moses, Elijah, Elisha, David, they mostly had one or two people by their side, and oftentimes they were alone when God worked through them.
