As in “fish and chips” from the UK. I love mine alone with malt vinegar and ketchup, fish and chips and burger and chips.

There use to be a chain,Arthur Treacher's Fish & Chips in my hometown. Their fish & chips were perfect. Not greasy, fat and delicious. Then something change and they became just the opposite. After about six months all the stores closed & moved away.
Now I rely on making my own at home or buying Gorton's fish fillets and a bag of Nathan's thick crinkle cut french fries. W/ a site of homemade coleslaw, it's the best with a dip of either homemade tartar sauce and/or malt vinegar on the side.
I found a really good Feta Greek salad dressing makes for an excellent fish and chip dip as well. Bits of Feta added.
